Spiceroot

Spiceroot is on the ground floor of Tilak Nagar, Mariwala Town, specifically at 49/9 in Ashok Nagar. It’s a quiet enough corner compared to the main roads, but it still has its share of activity. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just wander in. We spend a lot of time in the back, prepping things and making sure everything is ready for the day. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like doors that stick or windows that rattle when a big truck goes by. Tilak Nagar is a nice place to be. You get a mix of families and people who have lived here for decades. We try to keep the place looking decent, though we aren't decorators. It’s mostly just making sure the tables are straight and the floor is clean. The kitchen is where most of the action is. You can usually hear the knives hitting the cutting boards from the front. We’ve had some long days here, staying late to finish up and then coming back early to start again. It’s just the way it goes when you run a place like this. Ashok Nagar has a specific feel to it, and we feel like we fit in pretty well. We don't have a big sign or anything, just our name on the door. It’s just a regular workplace where we spend most of our time.
