Dragonfly Organic Farms

We are located right on the Main Road in Coorg, which is a beautiful place to be if you like green surroundings. Dragonfly Organic Farms is basically just us working with the land every day. It’s not like those big industrial places you see in the news. We spend a lot of time out in the dirt, checking on the plants and seeing how the soil is doing. The weather here in Coorg can be unpredictable, with the heavy rains and all, so that keeps us on our toes. We grow things the old way, without the heavy chemicals, mostly because it feels like the right way to treat the earth. It is a lot more manual labor, honestly. My hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. We have different sections for different crops, and we try to keep everything as natural as we can. People driving along the Main Road sometimes stop by to see what we are doing or to ask about the plants. We don’t have a big visitor center or anything fancy like that. It’s just a working farm where we try to produce honest food. Some days are long, especially during harvest time, but being outdoors is better than sitting in an office. We just do our work and hope the season turns out okay for the crops we've planted this year.
