Golden Corn Company

Our office is tucked away in Vishal Towers, which is at 18/8 on the 1st Main Road in Sampangirama Nagar. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, so finding a parking spot can be a real challenge some days. Golden Corn Company has been operating out of this building for some time now. We aren't a massive corporation with floors of people; we’re a smaller team just handling the day-to-day tasks. Most of our morning is spent on the phone or checking through paperwork to make sure the corn orders are moving where they need to go. The office has a few desks and a lot of files, nothing too impressive to look at. We usually grab lunch from one of the nearby stalls because the food around here is actually quite good. Being in the city center means there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the logistics of what we do. It gets pretty noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you stop noticing it after a few months. We don't have any big speeches about what we do, we just make sure the work gets finished before we head home in the evening. It’s just a normal workplace with regular people trying to do a decent job every day. Sometimes the elevator in the tower acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is just part of it.
