Green Food Court

This food court is located at No. 800 and 801 on Hosur Road, specifically in the Vijaynagar 1 Stage area of Mysore. If you know the neighborhood, we are right opposite the petrol bunk. It’s a large enough space because we wanted to have several different types of food available under one roof. We have a lot of students and office people coming in because there are a lot of colleges and businesses around here. The layout is very simple—just a big open area with different counters and plenty of plastic chairs. We don't have waiters who come to your table; you just go up to the counter and get what you want. It can get pretty loud during the lunch hour when the college kids arrive. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming through, the cleaning staff is always on their toes. The floor is just plain tiles and the lighting is basic tube lights. We aren't trying to be a fancy mall food court. We just provide a place where you can find something to eat without spending a lot of money. The menu is written on boards above the counters, and we change things depending on what is available. It’s a busy, functional spot that serves the local Mysore community every day of the week. Most people just grab their plate and find whatever stool is empty.
