Speed City Taxi

Speed City Taxi is based in Venkatapura, specifically at 50/2 on the Kormangala Main Road. We are in the K K Thimanaidu Building on the 1st floor. It’s a busy area as you can imagine being near Kormangala. There is always noise from the road downstairs. Our office is where we coordinate the drivers. It’s mostly just a few phones, some maps on the wall, and a lot of phone chargers. We aren't a big app-based company with billions of dollars. We are just a local taxi service. We have drivers who have been with us for years. They know the shortcuts and how to avoid the worst of the Bangalore traffic when possible. Sometimes the cars need repairs and they sit in the lot for a few days. We don’t have a fancy waiting room. Most of our business happens over the phone or through people we know. It gets stressful when there’s a big rain and everyone wants a cab at the same time. We just do our best to get a car to whoever calls us. The office is a bit cramped and we usually have the radio on to keep up with the news. We aren't trying to be flashy. We just want to make sure people get where they need to go. It’s a simple business with a lot of driving involved. We know the city well.
