Our shop is tucked away in the Chotani Building, right on the first floor of Saraswati Bhavan. Being just off Lamington Road means it’s always loud and crowded outside the windows. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know the streets are filled with people looking for cables, connectors, and every electronic part imaginable. We’ve got shelves stacked high with all sorts of components. It’s not the most organized-looking place in the world, but we usually know exactly where everything is kept. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, and it can get quite hot in the summer months when the fans are just pushing warm air around the room. We spend most of our time dealing with technicians and traders who come in looking for specific parts for their projects. It’s a lot of manual work, checking boxes and testing things before they go out. Sometimes the tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight when things get stressful with a big order. We aren't a big corporate office with fancy carpets and glass doors; it’s more about the smell of solder and the sound of the street below. We’ve stayed here because this is where the action is for electronics. It’s a tough neighborhood to navigate, but it’s home for us. We just keep our heads down, handle the daily sales, and try to make sure we don't run out of the items people ask for most.
