We work out of the penthouse at Gayatri Pride Apartments. It’s located on 19th Main in the H.A.L. Second Stage area. It’s a bit unusual for a business to be in an apartment building, but it works for us. The view from up here is actually pretty good, though we’re usually too busy to look out the window. We’ve got a small team sitting around some basic desks. We do a lot of sourcing work, basically finding things that people need. It involves a lot of time on the computer and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the elevator in the building is out of service, which is a real pain since we’re on the top floor. We try to keep things quiet so we don’t bother the neighbors who actually live here. It feels more like a home than an office most days. We have a small kitchen where we make coffee and sometimes eat together. There isn't a lot of structure here. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. We aren't some big firm with fancy suits. We’re just a group of people trying to make things happen from this little space. It gets the job done and keeps our overhead low. That’s pretty much how we like it. We have a lot of files stacked up, but we know where everything is if you ask.
