About Sophia Drinking Water – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
If you walk down Dharmaraya Swamy Temple Road in Ganigarpet, you'll find us at 31-9. It’s a busy street, especially on festival days. We spend a lot of time just keeping the water filters running and the cans filled up. It’s a constant cycle of cleaning and filling. People from the neighborhood usually just walk up with their empty cans. We keep a stack of them by the entrance. It gets quite cold inside because of the water, which is nice in the summer but a bit much in the winter. We don’t have a big office or anything. Just a desk tucked in the corner where we keep the ledger. Sometimes the power goes out, and everything stops, which is frustrating, but that’s just life here. We try to keep the floors as dry as possible, but there's always a puddle somewhere. My brother helps out with the deliveries on his scooter. We’ve been doing this for a few years now. It’s simple work, nothing complicated about it. We just make sure the water is clean and ready for whoever needs it. Ganigarpet is a tight-knit place, so we know most of our regulars by name. We aren't a big corporation. We’re just a local family trying to provide something useful for the people living nearby. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights, but we like the routine. We don't do much marketing, just the sign on the door.
