Our office is located at 41618 Gokula, just off LBS Marg in Sonapur Lane. We are positioned right above the Vijay Bank, which makes it easy for people to find the building. Running a cab business means we are always looking at the clock. There’s a lot of coordinating with drivers and checking to see if they’ve reached their pickups. The office is usually a bit chaotic with several phones ringing at once and someone always looking for a lost set of keys. We spend a lot of time talking to people who are in a hurry to get to the airport or a meeting. The traffic on LBS Marg can be a real nightmare, so we spend half our day trying to figure out the best routes to avoid the jams. It’s not a glamorous job by any means. We sit in small chairs surrounded by maps and logbooks that track every trip. Sometimes a driver calls in sick and we have to scramble to find a replacement so the customer isn't left waiting on the curb. We try to keep the cars clean and the drivers on time, but things don't always go according to plan. That’s just how the transport business works in a city like this. We’ve been in this lane for a while and we know most of the shopkeepers downstairs, so it feels like home.
