Sonal Sarees

Our shop is located at Safina Plaza on Infantry Road. You can find us on the first floor at Shop No. 26. It’s a busy building with a lot of different businesses tucked into every corner. Being on the first floor means people have to make a bit of an effort to come up, but we get a fair amount of foot traffic from people already in the building. The shop itself isn't huge. We have racks and shelves lining the walls to hold all the stock. We try to keep things tidy, but when we are busy showing items to people, the counters get covered pretty quickly. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We often chat with the shopkeepers next door when things are slow. Infantry Road is right outside, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns. We’ve grown used to it over the years. Inside, the floors are tiled and easy to sweep at the end of the day. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily work of running a retail spot. We open up mid-morning and usually stay until the plaza starts to quiet down in the evening. Most of our day is spent unfolding and folding fabrics. It’s a simple job, but it keeps us on our feet and moving. We like being part of the community in this plaza.
