Sms On Call Drivers is located over in Indira Nagar on S V Road, right near the NGF area. If you know the neighborhood, you know how the traffic gets around there. Our office is more of a home base for the drivers and the dispatch work. It’s not very big, just a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of chargers for all the phones we have to keep going. We spend most of the day coordinating schedules and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. It’s a lot of talking and checking maps. Sometimes the office gets a bit noisy when everyone is back at once, but mostly it’s just the sound of the city outside. There is a small bakery nearby where the smell of fresh bread drifts in during the mornings. We aren't trying to be anything flashy. It's just a practical setup for a service that people around here use when they don't want to deal with the driving themselves. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't really gotten around to it because we’re usually too busy with the daily logistics. Parking around S V Road is always a bit of a headache, so we’ve gotten used to squeezing cars into tight spots. It’s a basic, honest way to run things, and we just keep at it day after day.
