Our small travel office, Sm Tours And Travels, is situated at number 12 in Ashwath Nagar. We are right on the Maruthi Nagar Ring Road, which stays pretty busy all day and night. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Big Bazaar. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here. We have been helping people with their travel plans for several years now. It is not a corporate setup with people in suits. Most of the time, it’s just one or two of us sitting behind the old wooden desks. We have some faded maps on the walls and a stack of train schedules that we check. People stop by after doing their grocery shopping to ask about bus tickets or maybe a car for a wedding. We don't have a marketing team or big shiny posters. We just talk to people and figure out what they need for their trip. The Ring Road can get very loud with the trucks, so we usually keep the door shut to hear the phone. It’s a basic operation. We handle the bookings, make the calls, and print out the tickets. We know most of the families in Ashwath Nagar by now. Sometimes we just sit and have tea with people who aren't even booking anything that day. We just focus on getting the details right so nobody gets stuck somewhere they don't want to be. There isn't any fancy technology here, just a printer and our notebooks.
