Skanda Springs

Skanda Springs is located at Number 61 on the 6th Main road. We are in the 7th Block of Banashankari 3rd Stage. This part of Bangalore is quite busy with houses and small shops everywhere. We work with springs of all kinds. If you come by the shop, you will hear the sound of metal and machines running most of the day. It’s a greasy job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We have various machines for winding and cutting wire to get the right tension. We don’t have a fancy showroom because there isn't much to show other than boxes of metal parts. Most of our work is for other businesses that need specific parts for their own products. We spend a lot of time measuring things with calipers and making sure the specs are close enough to what was asked for. Sometimes the wire we get isn't quite right and we have to send it back, which slows everything down. We aren't a big factory, just a small workshop where we know our machines well. The traffic in Banashankari can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the day. We have been in this same spot for years and the neighbors are used to the noise. It is just steady, honest mechanical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
