Silkrod Spaciality Goods

Chandra Layout is mostly a quiet neighborhood, especially during the middle of the afternoon when most people are inside. Silkrod Spaciality Goods is tucked away at No. 56 on the 11th Cross, and it’s the kind of place you might miss if you aren't looking for it. The shop feels a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of different items onto the wooden shelves that line the walls. There is a specific smell here, a mix of dry goods and maybe a bit of incense from the morning prayer. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, so we usually have to keep the front door open to let the natural light hit the inventory. We don't have a big team or a lot of complicated systems. It’s just us checking the boxes that come in and making sure everything is placed where it belongs. The 1st Stage area is pretty relaxed, so we don't get the crazy noise of the main market roads, which is nice. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat about the weather or the local news while we are middle of counting the stock. The floor tiles are a bit chipped near the entrance, but nobody really seems to mind much. We spend a lot of time just organizing things and making sure the labels are clear. It is a simple operation in a busy part of the city, and we just take things one day at a time.
