Hira Fancy Center

If you head down to Jeevan Bhima Nagar Patelwadi, on Kurla Pipe Road, you’ll find Hira Fancy Center. It’s 41315 if you’re looking at the mail address. We sell all those little things that people need but don’t always know where to find. Things like bangles, hair clips, stationary for the kids, and maybe some small gift items for birthdays. The shelves are pretty packed because we try to fit as much as possible into the shop. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. We get a lot of students coming in after school looking for pens or notebooks. Mothers come by for sewing supplies or something for their hair. It’s a lively little spot on Kurla Pipe Road. We’ve been here long enough that we know what the locals are looking for. We don’t do anything too complicated. Just selling what’s on the shelves and helping people pick out a color or a size. It gets a little hot in the afternoons but we keep the fan going. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stack boxes in the corner for a day. It’s just the way the shop runs. We like being part of the Patelwadi community and seeing familiar faces every morning.
