Shoaib Bonoo Accessories is located right near the Jai Maharashtra Chowk in Basavanagudi. It is a very lively spot with a lot of people walking by the front door all day and night. Our shop is relatively small, but we try to fit everything onto the shelves so people can see what is available. It is a bit of a balancing act sometimes. We have been here long enough that we recognize most of the regular faces in this neighborhood. Basavanagudi has a very specific local feel to it, and we like being a part of that community. The shelves stay pretty packed with items. We spend a lot of our time just rearranging things so we can actually find what someone is looking for. This is not a corporate store where everything is in perfect rows. It is more of a local shop where things look a bit lived-in and comfortable. We have been working from this exact location for a good many years. When the festival season arrives, the whole chowk gets extremely crowded and it is difficult to even stand on the sidewalk. We just keep doing our daily work regardless of the crowd. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the open door for a while. It is a simple way of living. We do not have a large staff. It is just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you are looking for us, just find the sign near the corner.
