Silicon Micro Systems

Our office is over in the Annex Building of the Kodandarama Complex. It’s right on Gandhi Bazaar Main Road, so the street noise is something we’ve gotten used to over the years in Basavanagudi. We deal with micro systems and computer parts. Most of the time, the desks are covered in components and wires. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of our hours looking at small parts and trying to get things to work right. It’s not a large place, just room 106, but it fits what we need. The stairs up to the annex can be a bit steep if you aren’t used to them. We’ve got a small crew here. Usually, someone is on the phone while someone else is tinkering with a motherboard. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us because they heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s practical work. Sometimes the coffee gets cold before we have a chance to drink it because we’re busy with a repair. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice, though the traffic outside can be quite loud. It’s just how it is working in this part of town. We keep things going and try to stay organized with all the small parts we keep in stock. There is always a lot to do.
