Sigma Oxygen

We’re located at No.3, 4, and 5 on G.S.T. Road in Alandur. Being right on such a major road means we’re always surrounded by the sound of traffic and people moving past. Our facility is basically where we manage all the oxygen supplies and cylinders that come in and out. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. There’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around, so it can get quite tired by the end of the shift. We don’t have a polished showroom because we don’t really need one for what we do. It’s more of a warehouse and office mix where we can keep an eye on everything. We spend a lot of time checking gauges and making sure everything is stored safely. Safety is a big thing here, even if the office itself looks a bit worn out. Alandur is a good spot for us because it’s easy for the trucks to get to G.S.T. Road, even if the traffic is a nightmare during peak hours. We’ve got a small crew of guys who have been doing this for years. We aren't big on talk; we just focus on getting the cylinders filled and sent out to whoever needs them. It’s a bit of a messy job sometimes, with the dust from the road and the grease from the equipment, but it’s what we do.
