I’m up here on the second floor of the Universal MGM Apartment in Bikasipura. It’s a quiet enough area for the most part. My name is Shyam Prasad B N and this is where I do my work. The office is basically just a room with a desk and some filing cabinets. I’ve been in Chikkalasandra on the 4th Main for quite a while now. You have to go past the Subramanyapura Post to find us. It’s not a big corporate building with a lobby or a guard. Most people who come here are just looking for help with their paperwork or some advice. I spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at the computer screen. Sometimes the elevator in the apartment acts up so I end up taking the stairs. It keeps me moving. I don’t have a big team of people working under me. It’s mostly just me handling things as they come in. The view from the window is just the street below and some trees. It’s a practical setup. I don't see the point in having a flashy office when the work is what matters. My neighbors in the building are mostly families. It’s a bit different than a business park but I like the feel of it. It’s just a normal place where work gets done every day without any fuss. I just keep things moving.
