Our place is Shyam Mishra Juice Centre And Pan Beeda Shop. We are located in Chickpet on 27th Cross R T Street. It’s a very narrow and crowded area. There are always people moving past the shop. We have a small space but we fit everything we need. We spend the day cutting fruit and making juice. It gets messy with all the peels and ice. We also do the pan and beeda for the folks who want that after they eat. We don't have a lot of room for people to sit down. Most customers just stand on the street and drink their juice. We’ve been here in Chickpet for quite a while. The noise from the market is constant. We are used to shouting over the traffic. We don't have a polished look or fancy uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable for work. Some days the fruit isn't as good as other days but we do our best with what we get. We know the other shop owners around here. We help each other out sometimes. It’s a tough way to make a living but it’s what we know. We just keep the blades sharp and the bottles cold. If you find yourself on R T Street you’ll see our small sign hanging there. It’s dusty but it’s still there and we’re open.
