We run Shricane Fresh Beverages out of L-12 in the Sampurna Apartments on Smveyor Street. Being in Basavanjgudi gives the place a bit of a traditional feel. It is a residential area mostly, so it is a bit quieter than the main roads. We focus on fresh drinks, mainly sugarcane. It is something we have been doing for a while. The office is not some high-rise; it is just a regular space in an apartment building. We spend a lot of time figuring out how to keep things fresh without adding a bunch of chemicals. It is harder than it looks. Our team is small, and we often sit around the table discussing new ideas or checking on orders. Basavanjgudi has its own charm, with the old trees and the temples nearby. We like being part of this neighborhood. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello. Living and working in the same area means we really know the streets around here. We see the same people walking their dogs every morning. It makes the business feel more personal. We are not interested in being a giant brand that loses touch with where it started. We like the small-scale feel of what we do. It is a lot of trial and error. Sometimes a batch is not perfect, and we have to start over. That is just part of the process. We just want people to enjoy what we make.
