Shri Vigneshwara Engineering

We run Shri Vigneshwara Engineering over near the Peenya Fire Camp. If you know the R C Dutt Road in Alkapuri, we are at number 17. It is an industrial kind of place. There is always the sound of machines running or someone welding something in the back. We do a lot of small parts and repair work for other companies in the Peenya area. Our floor is usually covered in metal shavings, even if we sweep every hour. It’s just the way an engineering shop is. We aren't wearing suits here; it's mostly work shirts and heavy boots. Sometimes a job comes in that's a real headache, and we have to sit and figure it out for a long time. We don't mind the challenge, though. Most of our tools have been with us for years. They are old but they still work perfectly. People come to us when something breaks or they need a specific part made. We try to get it done as fast as we can, but we don't rush if it means making a mistake. It’s a steady life. We open the shutters early and usually stay until the sun goes down. It's honest work and we like being part of the Peenya industrial hub. It's where things get made and fixed. We've been here long enough that the noise doesn't even bother us anymore and we know all the other shops nearby.
