Shreyas Coffee

We operate Shreyas Coffee out of a modest building at 25-8-96 in Prakash Nagar. Srirampuram is a hardworking neighborhood, and we try to match that energy. Our shop is pretty basic. We have the counters, the bags of beans, and the equipment we need to get through the day. There are no fancy signs or neon lights here. We prefer it that way. Most of our neighbors know us by now, as we have been on this corner for quite some time. The floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic, but it shows we have been busy. We spend our hours sorting through the coffee and making sure everything is fresh. It is a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy sacks and standing on our feet for long stretches. We do not have a big corporate strategy. We just open up the shutters in the morning and wait for the first person to walk in. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things go quiet for a few minutes. Prakash Nagar can be noisy with the scooters and the local vendors, but it is a good place to be. We are just a local business trying to do a decent job for the people around here. It is simple work, but it is ours. We focus on the roasting and the packing without worrying about what other shops are doing. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
