Our office is tucked away in JP Nagar, specifically at 17th Cross on the 26th Main near Murthappa Garden. It is actually a nice little area with a bit of shade from the trees, which helps when the sun is really hitting the pavement. We usually get in around ten and start by going through the new listings or checking who called late the night before. Real estate around here is always changing, with old houses being torn down and new apartments going up every few months. We spend a lot of time walking around the local blocks to see which plots are available or if any for rent signs have popped up. People come in and sit on the plastic chairs to talk about what they are looking for, whether it's a small place for a shop or a house for their family. The desk is always covered in maps and old notebooks where we scribble down phone numbers. It isn't a high-tech setup, just some files and a landline that rings at odd hours. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around this part of JP Nagar quite well. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic go by while waiting for a client to show up for a site visit. It is steady work that keeps us on our feet, moving between the office and different properties all through the day, trying to help people find a place that works for them.
