You can find us at number 8 Mamulpet. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know how tight the lanes are. It is a very old area, and everything is packed close together. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We spend a lot of time moving crates in and out of the small doorway. It is always a bit of a squeeze when a delivery arrives. We do not have much room for a desk, so most of the business happens standing up or sitting on whatever crate is empty at the time. The morning starts with clearing the dust off the counters and checking what needs to go out that day. Mamulpet is a wholesale hub, so there is never a quiet moment from ten until eight at night. We have seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. The building is old and has that specific smell of paper and stone. The stone floor stays cold in the winter, which is nice. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just come to the door or call us on the landline. It is a practical way to work. We know most of the other shop owners on the street, and we all help each other out when someone needs change or a hand with a heavy load. It is just how business works down here in the market.
