If you find yourself in Shivajinagar near the Vinay Sagar area, you’ve probably walked right past us. We are just a regular shop where we hang up whatever clothes we have in stock for the week. It’s not very big inside, so things can get a little messy when people start looking through the stacks. We try to keep the hangers straight, but it doesn't always stay that way for long. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. Most of our days are spent folding things or helping someone find a size that actually fits. It’s nice being near the water because there is usually a bit of a breeze coming through the street. We’ve seen a lot of shops open and close around here, but we’ve managed to stay put. We don’t use any fancy computer systems to track everything; we mostly just remember what we have on the shelves. Sometimes we sit out front on a stool when it’s quiet and watch the traffic go by. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in when they see something they like in the window. We try to keep the mirrors clean and the floor swept, though with all the foot traffic, the dust comes back pretty quick. It’s just a local business run by regular people.
