Sharan Tea Stall

You can find us at 7 New Thippasandra, right in the Chanakyapuri Veeranjaneya Temple Complex. We are very close to the Anjaneya Temple, so we get a lot of people coming in after they finish their prayers. It’s a small stall, nothing more than a corner really. We start early in the morning, getting the milk ready and waking up the stove. The area is quite peaceful compared to the main city roads, especially with the temple nearby. We serve tea in small glasses and have some snacks if someone is hungry. Most of our customers are locals who live in Thippasandra or people who work in the nearby shops. We don't have a menu; people just ask for what they want. It’s a simple life here. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counter and washing the glasses. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and we know many of the faces who stop by every morning. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just make the tea the way we know how. It’s a good place to stand and talk for a few minutes before heading off to work. We like the rhythm of the temple bells and the morning crowds. It feels like home to us. The temple complex is always busy during festivals, and we have to work double time to keep up with all the people wanting tea.
