Sharada Interiors

We are based at 5/A, New Bamboo Bazar. As the name Sharada Interiors suggests, we do a lot of work related to making indoor spaces look better for people. Being in the Bamboo Bazar means we are surrounded by wood, timber, and of course, lots of bamboo all day long. The smell of sawdust is pretty much everywhere in our workshop and on our clothes. We have a small team of workers who are really good with their hands and tools. Most of our day is spent measuring things, cutting materials, and talking to people about what they want for their homes or small shops. The office part is just a tiny corner with a table and a few plastic chairs for visitors. It's not a fancy showroom with bright lights and mirrors. It’s more of a place where real dusty work happens. You’ll see tools lying around and hand-drawn sketches pinned to the walls. We take our time with the projects because we want them to be sturdy and last a long time. Sometimes we have to go out to look at different sites, so the shop might be quiet for a few hours during the day. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to answer the phones professionally. People usually hear about us from their neighbors. We just try to do a decent job with the materials we have. It’s a gritty, practical environment.
