Semiconductor Complex Ltd.

We are located up on the 4th floor of Brigade Towers, right on Brigade Road at No. 135. Being a government enterprise, things at Semiconductor Complex Ltd. are pretty structured, but the daily reality is just a lot of people sitting at desks and working with very small parts. Unit No.-408 is usually quiet because people are concentrating hard on their screens or testing different equipment. The elevator in this building can be a bit slow in the morning when everyone is trying to get to their floors at the same time. From our windows, we can see all the traffic on the street below, which is a big change from the quiet environment inside our office. We have a lot of technical manuals stacked on metal shelves and various pieces of hardware scattered around the lab areas. It does not feel like a big corporate headquarters; it is more like a place where engineers just do their thing every day. We use a lot of whiteboards for scribbling notes and diagrams that probably would not make much sense to anyone else. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so you will see people wearing sweaters even when it is boiling hot outside. We deal with a lot of paperwork because of the nature of the business, but we try to keep things moving. It is a steady environment where everyone knows their role and stays busy.
