We've been here at Kirti Nagar in the timber block for a long while now. Being on the first floor of the W.H.S. area means we see a lot of people coming in for wood and supplies every day. It's a busy spot. My dad started this and we just kept it going because it’s what we know. We stock different kinds of timber depending on what’s available and what people are asking for lately. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty around the office with all the wood moving around outside, but that’s just how it is in this trade. During the rainy season, the smell of damp wood is everywhere, which is something you just get used to. We spend most of our mornings checking the new loads that come in from the trucks. Kirti Nagar is famous for furniture and wood, so there is always something happening on the street. We try to keep things simple here. If someone needs a specific type of plank or has a question about a project, they just walk up to the first floor and talk to us. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a regular office where we handle the orders and talk to the guys at the sawmills. Dealing with timber is a lot of work because the quality can change from batch to batch, so we have to be careful about what we buy. It's just a small team of us working here.
