Sanesh City Taxi

Managing a taxi service from Indira Nagar keeps me on my toes all day long. We are located at number 141, which is a busy spot. The phones start ringing pretty early, usually people heading to the airport or the office. I’ve lived in this part of town for years, so I know all the shortcuts and back lanes. My office isn't much to look at, just a few chairs and a big map pinned to the wall that's starting to peel at the edges. We have a small team of drivers who know the city well. Sometimes the traffic on the main road is so bad that we have to plan way ahead. I spend a lot of time talking to customers and making sure the cars are where they need to be. It can be stressful when a driver gets stuck in a jam, but we figure it out. We don’t use any fancy apps or anything, just good old phone calls and writing things down in a ledger. The neighborhood has changed so much with all the new cafes and shops, but we’ve stayed right here. People know they can just walk in and ask for a ride. I usually have the radio on in the background while I work. It’s a simple operation, really. We just try to get people from one place to another without too much fuss. Every day is different in this business and that's okay.
