Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer is based at 479 Janatha Layout in the Siddartha Nagar area of Mysore. It’s a nice part of the city to be in, and the 570011 zip code is where we’ve set up our small office. We mostly deal with engineering sales, which means a lot of technical talk and looking at specifications all day long. Mysore is a bit more relaxed than some of the bigger cities, which we like. Our office is pretty simple. It’s just a place to store files, take calls, and meet the occasional client who drops by. We spend a lot of time coordinating between the manufacturers and the local people who need the gear. It’s not always easy because there are often delays or parts that don't quite match up, but we work through it. We aren't a big corporation with fancy branding. It's just a few of us here trying to make a living by knowing our stuff. Most of our day is spent on the phone or responding to inquiries that come in. Sometimes we go out into the field to see how the equipment is being used, but mostly we are right here in Siddartha Nagar. The layout is quiet most of the time, which helps when we need to concentrate on complex orders. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay, just doing the same practical work we’ve always done for the people in the area.
