Sakhi Fashions is over at #305 on 6th Main in Defense Colony. If you know Indiranagar, you know how busy it gets around here. Our place is tucked away a bit from the main chaos. We’ve been here a while. Usually, the mornings start with the shutters going up and the smell of coffee from the place down the street. We spend most of the day surrounded by stacks of cloth and hangers. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes because we keep getting new things in. The lights aren’t the brightest, but we make do. People find us mostly because they live nearby or they’ve heard about us from a neighbor. It’s not fancy. There’s a wooden counter where we do all the billing and folding. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but they keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be like those big malls. It’s just us here, making sure the clothes look right before someone takes them home. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, and we have to help them move. That’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep the doors open when the weather is nice. You can hear the bikes passing by and the neighbors talking. It feels like a proper neighborhood spot. We mostly just focus on getting the work done and chatting with the regulars who drop by to see what’s new on the racks.
