We are set up over at No. 305 on the 6th Main in Indiranagar, right in the heart of Defense Colony. This area is always full of life, and the 6th Main specifically has so many people coming and going at all hours. Our shop is a straightforward space where we keep the garments organized on long metal racks and wooden shelves. The floor is made of old polished stone that stays cool even when the weather outside is baking. We usually get in early to beat the traffic and spend the first hour sorting through the new arrivals or fixing the displays. It’s not a very quiet shop because the sound of the cars and the people chatting outside always drifts in through the door. We don't have any big corporate rules here; we just try to keep things neat and help people find what they need without hovering over them. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the register and a pile of old notebooks. Sometimes we have a bit of a struggle with the power lines during the rainy season, but we just light some candles and keep going. By the time evening rolls around, the street gets even busier with people going out for dinner. We finally pull the shutters down around eight and head out into the Indiranagar crowd. It is a hectic but good place to be.
