Sai Ram Beverages. You can find us at 215/3 in Yelahanka. It’s just a basic shop where we keep all the stock for various drinks. The place is often filled with stacks of crates right up to the ceiling. It’s a lot of manual work, moving bottles and cans around all day long. The air gets quite warm in Yelahanka, so we are always keeping the coolers running. It makes a constant humming sound that we have grown used to. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who handle the heavy lifting and the customers who walk in. Most of the time we are busy checking the inventory or cleaning up after a delivery truck leaves. The floor is concrete and gets a bit dusty because of the road outside. We have a small desk where we keep the bills and a calculator. It’s not a fancy place with decorations. We just focus on getting the crates out to the people who need them. Sometimes we sit on the empty crates outside for a break when it’s quiet and there are no customers. People stop by for a single bottle or sometimes a whole case for a party at home. We just tell them the price and help them carry it to their vehicle if it’s heavy. It’s simple work but it keeps us on our feet from early morning until the sun goes down and we can finally lock up.
