It’s a busy part of the city, and being right across from the temple means there’s always people moving around. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, honestly. The office is just a room where we keep our files and meet people. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving around looking at flats and plots. Marol has grown so much, and sometimes it's hard to keep track of every new building going up. We try to keep a list of what's available for rent or sale around here. It’s not a fancy operation. We don’t wear suits unless we absolutely have to for some official meeting. Mostly, it's just jeans and shirts, dealing with landlords and tenants. The temple bells are a constant sound in the background while we work. People come to us because we know the streets here. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in Mumbai. We just want to help the person standing in front of us find a place that fits their budget. It’s a lot of paperwork and legwork, but it’s what we do. Sagbaug is a tight-knit spot, and we like it that way. It is just home for us and our work.
