Sahil Bag Center

Sahil Bag Center has been around here on Kazi Sayed Street for quite some time now. We are located right near Sujatha Talkies, so if you are in the Lalbagh Road area, you have probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. It’s a busy spot with lots of people moving back and forth all day. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we deal with bags of all kinds. We have school bags for the kids and some bigger ones for travel if you are going away for a few days. Sometimes the zippers break on old bags and people bring them in to see if we can do anything about it. We try to help out when we can. The street gets pretty crowded in the afternoons, especially when a movie lets out nearby. We open up early in the morning and stay until things quiet down in the evening. It’s just me and a couple of others here most days. We keep the stock piled up on the shelves, so it might look a bit cluttered if you walk in, but we know where everything is. It’s a simple business and we’ve lived in this neighborhood for years, so we know a lot of the faces that pass by. Nothing too complicated about what we do, just selling and fixing bags for the local folks who need them for work or school.
