Sahar Press Tools

Sahar Press Tools is tucked away on Facit Avenue Road in Kandanchavadi. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty busy with all the small shops and workshops around here. Our space is mostly taken up by the big press machines and the tool benches. It’s a bit cramped, honestly, but we’ve learned how to move around each other without bumping into things. The air always smells a bit like machine oil and cold metal. Most days are spent looking at designs or feeding material into the machines. It’s noisy work, and the rhythm of the presses is something you just get used to after a week or two. We don’t have much in the way of a reception area, just a desk near the door where the paperwork gets piled up. Sometimes customers stop by to check on their orders, and we just talk over the sound of the shop. We keep our tools sharp and our benches organized as much as possible, though things tend to get messy by noon. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually grab a break. It’s a straightforward setup. We do the work, pack the parts, and send them out. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do well enough to keep the doors open every day. We just focus on the metal and the machines until it’s time to lock up.
