S. S. Engineering Industries

Our workshop, S. S. Engineering Industries, is located at B-186 & V-36 in the Industrial Estate, 2nd Stage, Peenya. Peenya is a massive area, and it can be easy to get lost if you don't know the turns. We have two units here, which helps when we have several different engineering jobs going on at the same time. It’s a lot of metal work, milling, and turning. The floors are concrete and usually have some oil patches, no matter how much we scrub them. It’s just the nature of engineering. We’ve got a small crew of workers who really know their stuff. Most of them have been living in this part of the city for years. We don't have a big HR department or a receptionist. Usually, the phone rings and whoever is closest to the desk picks it up, maybe having to shout over the sound of a lathe in the background. We deal with various industries that need parts made to specific sizes. Sometimes the drawings we get are complicated, and we have to sit down and scratch our heads for a bit before we start. We don't make big promises; we just try to get the pieces cut and finished as they should be. S. S. Engineering Industries is a practical place. We show up, we do the machining, and we try to keep the machines in good repair for the next day's work. There is always something to weld or fix around the shop here.
