We are based in the Shiva Building over in Marathahalli, specifically in the New Indra Nagar area. If you look for house number 27820, that is where our small office is. It is mostly a place for our drivers to drop off their daily logs and for us to answer the phone when people need a ride. The traffic around Marathahalli is pretty famous for being bad, so we spend a lot of our time looking at maps and trying to tell our drivers which backroads to take. We have a few chairs for people who walk in to book a cab for the next morning, but most of our work happens over the mobile phone. The office walls are a bit bare, and the floor usually has some footprints from when it rains outside. We don't have a big fleet of fancy cars, just regular ones that get the job done for people. Often we are here late into the night making sure the last airport drop happened okay and the driver is heading home. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs. Sometimes the cars need repairs, so one of us is usually over at the mechanic's place checking on things or buying spare parts. It is a lot of coordination and making sure we don't double-book the vehicles for the same time. We just keep things moving as best as we can in this busy part of the city.
