S M L Industries

S M L Industries is located over at 11 Vinayak Apartment. We are situated in Sitaphal Bhag, which is part of the Bapuji Nagar area. It’s basically just a small industrial setup we have inside the apartment building. We deal with various kinds of small-scale manufacturing and assembly, nothing too massive. It gets pretty cramped inside sometimes because we have to store all our materials and finished products in the same space. We started out here because the rent was affordable and it’s really close to where most of our workers live. You have to look closely for the sign near the main entrance or you might walk right past it. Most people who live in Bapuji Nagar are familiar with the Vinayak building. We spend most of our time going through orders and making sure everything is put together correctly. It isn't exactly the quietest work, so we try to be mindful of the neighbors in the apartment. Usually, there are about four of us working during the day. We drink quite a bit of tea to keep us going. It’s just a regular local business. We don't have a corporate front office or any of that. Just the workspace and some old wooden shelves. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble finding the exact spot in Sitaphal Bhag because the lanes are narrow. But we’ve been here long enough that most people know us by now. It’s a decent place for the work we do.
