S & S City Taxi

S & S City Taxi is based at 5 Mahadevapura. We are right by the Ambika Hotel. If you can’t find that, just look for the Police Station. We are very close to it. It’s a handy location for us. There’s always something happening near the station. Our office is just a small room where we coordinate things. It’s got a couple of phones and a big map on the wall. The map is a bit outdated but it still works for the main roads. We don't have a fleet of hundreds of cars. It’s a local operation. Most of our drivers have lived in Mahadevapura for years. They know the shortcuts and which roads to avoid during the rain. The Ambika Hotel next door is where we usually get our tea. The smell of sambar often drifts into our office in the mornings. It’s a bit crowded in our little space when all the drivers come in at once. We talk about the traffic and the weather. It’s not a corporate call center. It’s just us trying to keep things moving. The chairs are old and the desk has a few scratches. We don't mind. We spend most of our time out on the road anyway. If you need a ride or just want to stop by, look for number 5. We are there most of the time, keeping the taxis running for the neighborhood.
