Rius Coffee Lounge

If you find yourself on Banashankari 3rd Stage Main Road at number 185, that is where Rius Coffee Lounge is. The shop isn't huge, but we managed to fit a good number of stools and a couple of small tables inside the space. It usually smells like burnt beans and steamed milk throughout the day, which sticks to your clothes after a while. We spend a lot of time cleaning the espresso machine because it gets gunked up pretty fast when it is busy. The window looks out onto the main road, so there is always something to watch while we are waiting for the next customer to come in. Most of the people who stop by live right around here or are just passing through on their way to the market. We keep the radio on most of the time, though sometimes the signal cuts out if the weather is bad. The lighting is a bit dim in the back corner where the storage bags are kept, but it works fine for what we need. We go through a lot of sugar and napkins every week. Sometimes the front door squeaks when it opens, and we keep meaning to oil it but never seem to get around to it. It is just a place to sit for a minute and have a cup of something hot. There isn't much more to it than that.
