Rinku Bag Traders is right in the heart of Chickpet at number 22. If you know Chickpet, you know it’s one of the busiest places you can find. There are people everywhere, and the noise never really stops. Our shop is a trading hub for all sorts of bags. We deal with bulk orders mostly, so you’ll often see us moving large sacks or boxes in and out of the narrow doorway. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather is hot and the street is packed with shoppers and carts. We’ve been trading here for a long time and have seen many other shops come and go. Our place is filled with bags of every shape and size you can think of—duffels, handbags, pouches, and more. It’s not the most organized shop in the world because we are always receiving new stock or shipping things out. We don’t have much time for small talk, but we know our regular customers well. It’s a fast-paced environment and you have to be quick on your feet to keep up with the trade. We stay open late into the evening because that’s when a lot of the wholesale buyers like to finish their rounds. It’s a tough business but it keeps us going. We’re just a small part of the big market that makes Chickpet what it is.
