We are an architectural firm based in Bangalore, Karnataka. RGK Architects Pvt. Ltd has been part of this city for quite a while now. Bangalore is a massive place, and being an architect here means you have to be ready for anything. We don't have one single neighborhood we stick to; we take on projects all over the city and the surrounding areas. Our daily routine usually starts with a team meeting to go over the current projects. There’s always a lot of sketching and redrawing going on. The office environment is pretty casual, though we work hard when there’s a deadline. We spend a lot of time navigating the local traffic to get to different construction sites. It’s just part of the job here. We deal with all sorts of buildings, from small renovations to larger commercial spaces. Our team is a mix of people who just like to build things that work well. We don't spend money on big advertising campaigns. Most people hear about us from someone else we’ve worked with. The work itself can be quite repetitive with all the technical details and structural checks, but seeing a building actually take shape makes it worth it. We try to keep our feet on the ground and focus on the practical side of architecture rather than just the looks. It’s a busy life in a busy city, and we just keep moving forward with our daily tasks and drawings. We are glad to be here.
