About Reegal Bag Industries – Tourism in Bengaluru
We have been running our workshop at the Kur Building on 2nd Main Road for a long time now. New Tharagpet is always busy with people moving things around, and our place is right in the middle of it. We spend most of our days working with different kinds of fabrics and zippers. There are stacks of finished bags waiting to go out and rolls of material tucked into the corners. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how it goes here. Most of the people who work here live nearby. We know the tea seller downstairs pretty well because we get a round of chai every afternoon. The noise of the street outside is something you just get used to after a while. Our address is number 24, and it is usually quite crowded with delivery trucks in the morning. We do not have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just make bags and check the stitching to see if it holds up. If you walk past the building, you can hear the machines running. The stairs are a bit narrow, so moving heavy rolls of cloth to the second floor takes some effort. We have used the same machines for years and they work fine if we oil them. It is a simple setup.
