Red Sole Enterprises

If you look for us at No. I- 4 & 15 on Omer Shariff Road, you’ll find our place. Shivajinagar is always a bit of a maze. We deal with footwear, hence the name Red Sole Enterprises. It’s a lot of boxes and the smell of leather or rubber most days. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things high up to the ceiling. Sometimes it's hard to find a specific size right away. We spend our mornings checking the stock that came in the night before. The road outside is always full of people and bikes. It can get pretty noisy, but that’s just Shivajinagar for you. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It’s more of a practical space where we keep the inventory. Most of the guys working here have been around for a few years. We know the regulars who come by to see what's new. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. If someone needs shoes or soles, they find their way to Omer Shariff Road. We have a small table where we sit and talk to customers. Sometimes we share a cup of tea while looking at the samples. It’s a straightforward business. No big corporate meetings or anything like that. Just us making sure the orders are right and the boxes go where they should. It gets dusty, and the fans are old, but we get the work done every day. We enjoy the neighborhood.
