Arvind Brands Ltd. is up on the 5th floor of the Trinity building on M.G. Road. Being right on M.G. Road means we are always in the middle of the city's buzz. The view from the 5th floor is alright, you can see the metro and all the people walking below. We work with clothes and different labels. It sounds fancy but it’s mostly just a lot of logistics and talking to suppliers. The office is usually full of samples. You’ll see racks of shirts or piles of fabric sitting in the hallways. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes. We don’t really have a strict dress code ourselves, even though we work in fashion. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable because there is a lot of walking around the office. The elevators in Trinity can be slow during lunch time, so we often just wait or take the stairs if we are feeling brave. It’s a busy place. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It’s not all glamour. There’s a lot of checking tags and making sure the colors are right. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. Most of the security guards know us by name. It’s just a regular job in a busy part of town. We get our work done and try to beat the traffic home when the shift ends. It can be a long day.
