Red Earth Roasters

We set up Red Earth Roasters at 10/2 in the KSSIDC Industrial Estate. This part of Mahadevapura, near Whitefield, is always busy with traffic and people rushing around. Our unit is not much to look at from the outside, but it smells great once we start the roasters. We have sacks of green coffee beans stacked up to the ceiling in the back. It is a lot of heavy lifting, moving those bags around every morning. We do not have a fancy showroom with expensive furniture. It is mostly just the roasting machines, some scales, and a packing table. We spend a lot of time watching the clock and the temperature gauges to make sure the beans do not get too dark. It gets very hot in here during the afternoon, especially when both machines are running at once. We are just a small group of people who like working with coffee. We do not have a mission statement or a big philosophy. We just roast the beans and put them into bags for the local cafes and offices around Whitefield. Sometimes we have a cup ourselves and talk about how the latest batch turned out. The floor is usually covered in a bit of chaff from the beans, which we sweep up at the end of every day. It is a messy job sometimes, but we like the routine. We just try to get the orders out before the evening traffic gets too bad.
