Rasya Impex International

Rasya Impex International is tucked away at No. 11 on the 8th Cross of 10th Main in Maruthinagar. It’s a residential neighborhood that’s slowly turned into a place for small businesses like ours. The streets are narrow, so parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. The office is part of a larger house, and we’ve made it work for the import-export business we run. There’s a lot of coming and going with parcels and documents. We deal with international trade, so the clocks on the wall are set to different time zones, though we mostly just look at our watches. It’s a bit of a squeeze with all the samples we have on the shelves. We’ve got items from all over the place. The staff is small, just a handful of us who handle the phone calls and the paperwork. We spend a lot of time talking to customs agents and shipping companies. It’s not the glamorous life people think it is. It’s mostly just making sure things get from point A to point B without too much trouble. In the afternoons, the street gets quiet and you can hear the birds in the trees. We usually take a break then for some tea and a bit of a stretch. It’s a decent way to spend the day. We are just regular people making a living here.
